It’s been a minute since we’ve seen this many in-stock, and on-sale mountain bikes available. The past couple of years have been frustrating for new bike buyers, and it seems like now might be a good time to start looking again. In addition to complete bikes we’re also seeing some frame-only deals out there, but we recommend sticking with completes since finding all the parts you need for a custom build could be tricky. After all, you don’t want to get stuck waiting for a cassette or shifter to ride!

Mondraker XC and enduro bikes
Performance Bike has several Mondraker mountain bikes on sale right now, including 2021 F-Podium XC bikes (sizes L, XL) for $4,780.99 ($5,999.99 MSRP) and M, L, and XL Foxy enduro bikes as low as $3,496 ($4,199 MSRP).
Niner WFO long-travel 29er
Performance has 2021 Niner WFO models in sizes small, medium, and large in stock. These 2-star builds are already the most affordable WFO models, and the remaining bikes are priced as low as $4,123.99, down from the $4,800 MSRP. There are also a couple XL Jet 9 trail bikes at Performance that are marked down by almost $500.
Save $500 on Marin Pine Mountain hardtail
JensonUSA has the steel-framed, 120mm Marin Pine Mountain hardtail available in sizes small through XL for less than $2,000. They also have Marin Palisades hardtails for just $599, down from $1,019, and a couple other other entry-level hardtails as well.
Get that DJ bike you’ve always wanted
Nothing says pandemic bike more than a dirt jumper, and we found two different builds in stock, and price reduced. Performance has the GT La Bomba for $1,277, which includes a Manitou Circus suspension fork, while JensonUSA has a rigid — and more affordable — build available for just $679.94.

Entry-level Diamondbacks marked down
While the discounts on these Diamondbacks aren’t that dramatic (about $100), it’s been especially difficult to find entry-level and affordable bikes over the past couple of years. The good news is Performance has most sizes of both the Atroz 1 full-suspension bike ($915) and Hatch hardtails ($485 – $515) in stock. It looks like there’s even an XL Sync’R floating around…
