15 miles of trails planned for southeastern Nevada

Pioche, Nevada

IMBA recently shared an update on plans for 15 miles of singletrack coming to a site just north of Cathedral Gorge State Park in Nevada. Trail Solutions is working with the Caliente Mountain Biking (CAMBA) and the BLM to open the multi-skill, multi-use trails by mid-2025.

More trails planned for former landfill site

Jacksonville, Florida

Aterro Recreation Park already has about three miles of mountain bike trails, and an $85,000 donation from a local running group could bring more bike paths. The 100+ acre site boasts 65ft of elevation gain which is rare for this part of the state.

Trail Club looking for hands

Nelson, British Columbia

The Nelson Cycling Club in Nelson, BC, known for great BC riding in the country’s interior is getting support from the Columbia Basin Trust for its many trail projects in the area, according to the Nelson Daily. Projects under the Columbia Basin Trust include connector trails and existing trail and infrastructure maintenance and enhancement. Nelson Cycling Club is creating three new trail crew jobs and there are additional positions in Golden and Kimberly.

Construction on second phase of Arkansas trail begins

Fayetteville, Arkansas

The Ozark Off-Road Cyclists said in a Facebook post that Rock Solid Trail Contracting has begun work on the second phase of the Saddle Up trail at Kessler Mountain. The trail will remain open, but workers will be present. The Saddle Up loop is expected to be about two miles long.
