INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED SKILLS CLINIC [FULL DAY] Looking to tackle technical terrain?  Ready to add confidence to your riding? Want to exit a corner with speed? The Intermediate / Advances clinic takes a deep dive into high speed cornering techniques including proper bike-body separation, footwork, pressure control, types of corners and tips and tricks for keeping those corner smooth and fast. Your Ninja instructor will walk you through a series of drills and progressions to help you build up proper cornering techniques and set you up with an entirely new understanding of all that’s possible in a corner. In addition, you’ll learn how to ride drops, skills for technical climbing and descending, how to pump for speed and more! From there, take your skills to the trail for a coached ride and opportunity to ride advanced features with tips and feedback from your instructor. Leave this clinic ready to tackle rougher terrain and corners with greater speed and control.  Negotiate bigger trail obstacles and drops with commitment! The Intermediate/Advanced clinic builds upon the fundamentals and gives you a full toolbox of mountain bike skills that you can apply to any terrain, in any location, and in any conditions; be it a gnarly backcountry trail or your local racecourse.  This full-day clinic also looks closely at the key elements to finding your flow and builds upon your existing foundation to improve your trail speed and energy management. You must have a minimum of two years riding experience or have attended a Ninja Fundamentals clinic in the last year to join us for this clinic. FUNDAMENTALS COMBO | SKILLS + TRAIL APPLICATION [FULL DAY] This clinic includes the Fundamental Skills & Fundamentals Trail Application clinics taught back-to-back in this full-day clinic. Ready to take a deep-dive into your foundational riding skills and improve your confidence and control on the trail? Our Fundamentals Combo clinic is perfect for new riders AND experienced riders. This clinic combines our Fundamentals Skills and Fundamentals Trail Application clinic into one jam-packed day of skills development and riding fun. Spend the first half of the day dialing in your body position, learning the keys to proper braking, mastering wheel lifts, tackling climb and descent techniques, and lots more. With the guidance and real-time feedback of your Ninja instructor, hone your skills in a controlled environment through a series of drills and progressions. In the afternoon, it’s time to head out to the trails and put those skills to work! Spend the second half of the day on an in-depth coached trail session where you’ll review proper body position on a range of features, discuss the “when” and “why” of everything you learned earlier in the day, dive into the nuances of line selection and so much more. FUNDAMENTAL SKILLS CLINIC [HALF DAY] Looking to improve your confidence on the bike and take your riding to the next level? Are you new to mountain biking and looking for some help getting started? Have you been riding for a few years but never had any skills instruction? Or, do you find yourself riding the same trail in the same old way? Are you looking for a refresher of the fundamentals? The Fundamentals clinic is the perfect place for riders of ALL abilities to get started! Whether you are new to mountain biking or a seasoned veteran, our Fundamentals course will put an entirely new spin on your riding! The Fundamentals Skills clinic helps you dial in all the super important foundational riding skills that serve as building blocks for more advanced skills and terrain. Yes, this clinic is great for beginners, but it is truly a foundational clinic that is appropriate for riders of all levels and experience. Join us to learn correct body positioning on the bike, gain an understanding of how to effectively use your brakes, master wheel lifts to guide you up and over rocks, and nail switchbacks with control. FUNDAMENTALS TRAIL APPLICATION - LET’S TAKE IT TO THE TRAIL! [HALF DAY] Have you dialed in your foundation riding skills at a Fundamentals Skills clinic and now you are ready to put all together on the trail? Have you wanted help tackling that one switchback/rock garden/feature you just can’t seem to clear? Are you ready to push yourself on the trail without any unnecessary pressure? Are you struggling to take the skills from your driveway to the trails? Do you struggle with picking the “right” line on a trail? Fundamentals Trail Application is the course for you! This half-day course is designed to take the skills taught in our Fundamental Skills, introduce a few new skills, and put them all together in an in-depth coached trail session. You’ll take the time to session a variety of on-trail features and dive into the application of your newly dialed Ninja skills on singletrack. With the guidance of a certified instructor, review proper body position on a range of features, discuss the “when” and “why” of proper braking application, dive into the nuances of line selection and so much more.
