Mountain Biking Metzler Family Open Space
#864 of 1,383 mountain bike trails in Colorado
This is a small open space of 60 acres donated by the Metzer family. It is a beautiful resource in the city. It is mostly forested with ponderosa and scrub oak (Gamble Oak) dominating. Most of the trail is smooth singletrack with little technical, except for the Rancher's Ridge trail (0.5 mi), which has some very challenging rock features and some steep punchy climbs. There are a couple of sustained, relatively easy climbs. The trail is well-marked throughout.
