Mountain Biking Shadow Run
#81 of 105 mountain bike trails in Indiana
The first half mile plus is mostly an easy to moderate climb. From there, the trail is a pedally fast twisty cruiser that is constantly gradually climbing or descending. It is a blast. Then the last mile or so, is mostly a rippin' downhill that you can get quite a bit of speed on. The trail is singletrack throughout and clearly cut in for mountain biking. All in all, a great, fun "run" as its name portends. If doing one of the longer routes in the system, Shadow Run makes a great start and finish. It's definitely worth doing twice on the same ride.

After entering the park from US-50, follow the signs to the swimming pool. The trailhead is across the street from pool/marina parking lot. It is well-mark. Enter the trail system. After about maybe 50 yards you'll hit a first intersection. Turn right. Then you'll quickly hit another intersection (maybe 25 yards), which is Shadow Run. Turn left to do the trail clockwise.
