This is an urban trail system that is composed mostly of doublewide trail but also singletrack and two-track. It is all loose surface and family friendly. The trails mostly circle Bristlecone Lake and Pinon Lake. There is also maybe a mile and a half of singletrack, social trails on the southeastern end the system that add some fun. These are located off the dam of Bristlecone Lake and along the lower stretches of Beaver Creek. The jewel of the system is a one mile flow trail on the far western end with berms, rock features, and small jumps.
Bristlecone Lake Trail | 4 mi
Dam Connector | 0.3 mi | ||
Flow Trail | 1 mi | ||
North Beaver Creek Connector | 0.5 mi
Pinon Lake | 0.3 mi | ||

The trail's only value is to connect up with the random set of singletrack trails on the SE end of the entire Forest Lakes system.
Thank |Just an access trail to the rest of the Forest Lakes trail system
Thank |Family friendly loop.
Thank |This is a family friendly trail system on the west end of Baptist Road. The best nuggets are the social trails (singletrack) on the southeastern end of the system and the flow trail on the far western end. The system is not worth the drive for most riders, but you might add on the flow trail or the social trails after riding Falcon Trail at the Air Force Academy or Monument Preserve Open Space.
