Local Freshies® in 2014 to provide the “local scoop” on where to eat, drink & play in mountain towns throughout North America. When he’s not writing and executing marketing strategies for small businesses & agencies, he’s in search of the deepest snow in the winter and tackiest dirt in the summer.
A labor of love — 4,000 volunteer hours, to be exact — offers visitors and residents a unique mountain biking experience on the Lily Lake Trail in South Lake Tahoe, CA.
A local Tahoe mountain biker is leading the charge to build the 550-mile Sierra Camino Trail. The Sierra Camino will form the Sierra Nevada segment of the massive 5,000-mile Orogenesis Trail, which will eventually span from Cabo to Canada.
The small town of Ely, NV, is making a big bet to become a recognized IMBA Ride Center.
