I reside in Dillon, Colorado where the closest trailhead is within a mile and provides access to the hundreds of miles of backcountry trails in Summit County. I prefer long distance remote rides that are more adventurous in nature.
Fat bike races after dark are historically niche events. Though cold and often uncomfortable, these bike races are memorable thanks to the low-key environment, difficult conditions, and of course, the post-race party.
Life is fragile, and everything can change in an instant. Whether it's on the mountain bike trail or in the rest of life, the only thing we can do is focus on that which is within our control.
