The New Castle Rides and Reggae Festival is a celebration of trail running, mountain biking, music, and community. Rides and Reggae includes a weekend full of fun including live music from local and national reggae influenced bands, MTB races, a trail running race, and a duathlon for all ability levels on the Colorow and Highlands Trail Networks. Registration for the Dirty Dozen MTB Race includes a fun and challenging MTB race, 1 free beer at both nights of the festival (Friday and Saturday). Race registration also includes 1 entry into both days of the Rides and Reggae Festival (Friday and Saturday) so no need to purchase a festival ticket unless you plan to bring a friend with you. Advanced registration also includes a pair of custom race socks.
Racers can also register for the Dirty Dozen Trail running race and compete the combo event which consists of racing Friday night’s 10k trail race followed by Saturday morning’s 20-mile MTB. Times from both races will be combined for the finishing results.
The Dirty Half Dozen MTB Race is a shorter course (7 miles) for those not quite ready for the full Dozen race course and is perfect for Middle and High School Racers. Registration for the Dirty Half Dozen includes a fun and challenging MTB race and 1 free beer at both nights of the festival (Friday and Saturday) for racers at least 21 years of age. Race registration includes 1 entry into both days of the Rides and Reggae Festival (Friday and Saturday) so no need to purchase a festival ticket unless you plan to bring a friend with you. Advanced registration also includes a pair of custom race socks.
