A: Every tire has its own pressure and may differ between tires of the same size whether by the same or different manufacturers. You must always check the actual tire installed or the one you're buying. For example: on my road bikes l ride tires from 90-140 max psi where all tires are 700c x 23 clinchers. If l assumed that all tires of a certain size used the same psi l'd be bursting, blowing off the rim, or experiencing poor handling and accelerated and/or uneven tire wear. Pressures often depends on the use: recreational, sport, training, and/or competition. Hope this helps you some what. I recommend you talk with your bike shop professionals when choosing tires based on your expected usage. Safe cycling, Neal
