The Shimano MT55 wheelset was built with the recreational trail rider in mind. Welded rim joints provide the MT55 wheels with the kind of strength and durability that you'll find on more costly, higher-end wheels. Shimano uses their own straight pull spokes which offer more tension on the wheel, making them stiffer in corners and more stable when accelerating out of a turn. This is a must have for monstrous 29er wheels. Shimano's exclusive center lock rotor mount is lighter than any other interface on the market, and is quick and easy to install. Adaptors are sold to convert the center lock interface to 6 bolt if desired. The MT55 29" Wheels will stand up to the rugged trails and keep you rolling for miles!
