This is the best shop that is local to me. They have much larger selection then anyone else around but totally miss the vibe/experience that an independent shop should have. I wouldn't say rude but kinda non-caring? Regardless it's here or the internet because nobody else stocks squat!
Bike Bling is my "go-to" local shop so I'm pretty lucky. It still might be the best stocked shop I've ever been in but it's definitely slipping. They've lost a few bike brands over the past few years and they now have 1/3 the bikes that they used to have. Every excellent mechanic has left after knocking heads with the owner at some point. Their gear & parts supply is getting smaller as well. I was in there the other day and heard another customer say out loud "it looks like you guys are turning into TJ Maxx" as there was more old stock than current styles.
