The reviews for this shop are not up to date. Since the last review, Mark S. has lost his Giant dealership, has long since lost his Specialized dealership, has been arrested, indicted, and convicted of various felony thefts involving motorcycles, and owes his staff payment in arrears of several thousand dollars. Denton Bikes is a better choice, as long as the right-wing judge who owns the place is not there when you go to shop. I loved Mark, and tried to help him, but like so many other staff, I cannot abide his lies about us and himself. Cycling is more important than that.
Mark stayed open late on a Sunday to fix my brakes. He also caught some other issues with my gears, seat, and handlebars. Service was inexpensive and Mark HAPPILY answered all of my questions. He's got some pretty funny stories, too. I am incredibly happy with my experience and feel a lot safer on my bike.
I've been dealing with Bike-O-Rama for years, and they've always been the coolest. I went in and asked for a road bike that would take me three hundred miles immediately. They got two bikes from the back and combined them into a ten pound ride that I've gone over 4000 miles on since with out so much as a tune-up. The guys have a laid back attitude and inviting atmosphere and help with any problem am to pro for a very reasonable cost. I've had some weird bike projects over the years, and they're the first place I go as they help me every time for less bucks than other shops. And unlike other shops I've been to, they always treat you like a friend. A freaking awesome place.
They deal mostly Giant. I was going to buy one last year but the guy didn't order it like he said he would and I had already waited a week so I wasn't going to wait anymore. Didn't get a good impression.
