When I first moved to Castle Rock, this was the first shop I visited. Inventory was a bit sparse. The owner, Alex I believe, was friendly and I got what I needed. In a couple of subsequent visits I was not treated as well by his younger staff. I've spent a good 7 years of my life working in shops, so I know my way around a bike. Quite honestly I was treated like an idiot by these younger mechanics. Thankfully there is a better shop in Castle Rock, so I won't need to take my business here again. The only reason I gave 3 stars is based on my first visit. With better options in the area, I don't see this shop succeeding much longer.
Country pedaler is a dealer for Giant, Trek and Santa Cruz bikes. It had over 200 new bikes on stock at the time of this review, mostly mountain bikes. They organize off road group rides on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. They have been in business in Castle Rock since 1999. The owner and chief mechanic has over 30 years experience doing bike repairs but there are several younger mechanics employed there as well. The several repairs I've had done there have been prompt, professional and reasonable priced.
Friendly staff, small selection of accessories and good selection of bikes.
Thank |Very helpful and friendly people. Highly recommended.
