I have had reason to visit and work with several bike shops in the state of Colorado. From Bicycle Village (Boulder) to REI (Denver) and several shops in Longmont and Ft. Collins. Over the years I have purchased everything from pedals to full bikes ALWAYS choosing an LBS vs. department stores. What makes FCC better? They have are more interested in your riding EXPERIENCE, not just your bike. Just about everyplace I have shopped has had fairly good customer service, but they want to SELL you a bike or a service, its their JOB.
While VJ and Sue (owners) also would LOVE to sell you a bike, they are looking to HELP even more. Want to know a great place to ride, ask them. Want to learn a trail repair, ask them. Its what a great shop is all about.
It feels like family...AND the work performed is quality. Can't ask for much more!
As for selection, they have road and MTB, brands include NORCO, FUJI and others, from carbon fiber to aluminum..all at great prices.
VJ is a great guy and a talented mechanic. Always making sure things are right and the customer is satisfied.
