I’m in awe of how wonderful the staff are here. I needed help and direction on how to fix a crank arm on my bike but wasn’t sure on how to go about doing it and what to look for. I had two visits at Impala Bicycles for this ‘fixing one’s bike’ journey. Each encounter was a wonderful experience and am grateful for meeting these staff members. They both were calm and friendly, spoke with me on how to go about fixing my bike and showed me what was wrong. They explained everything beautifully. They have a working with you attitude, which is so appreciated. Thank you Evan and the other staff member (I unfortunately didn’t get their name) for helping me and working with me. You both did such a wonderful job in helping me. I left the store with each visit feeling very grateful and happy. Thank you!

By far my least favorite bike shop. I've attempted to go to Impala many times due to it being at the end of my road but every time I go in for a simple repair the guys try and rip me off. Don't even try to talk to the staff upstairs unless they see you are interested in purchasing a new bike. Otherwise you simply do not exist to them. I always go down the road now to Bicycle Plus(amazing service and wonderful staff its just to bad they are mostly XC products) or I make the trip to Pickering, Bay Cycle where I usually leave the shop satisfied.

The guys down stairs in the repair shop are knowledgeable and helpful.
The guys working upstairs in the retail part of the store are brutal. They ignore you, then when someone does get around to helping you they know nothing about anything. It's pretty bad when their working retail and don't know about bikes. The one person that does know stuff is always busy.

The Richmondhill location is a much better store.

Very helpfull when they think they will sell you a bike not so much when you are not asking them about a bike bought my first mtb after a 10 year break they tried sell me on a hybrid bike fortunately ended up with a hard tail norco A year later I was in the market for somthing more serious and was perusing the dual suspension xc offerings the only 2 staff ignored me and continued to discuss routes to road bike through town

Later I was getting a tune up on the above norco when I brought it they complained about the dust on the bike. When I came to pick it up no one bothered to acknowledge my presence and so I ventured around the corner to find someone, when I did I got gruff your not supposed to be here and we will help you in a bit

I now take my bikes to the competition 15 minutes further from my home and at inconvenience just so I do not have to deal with impala employees

It too bad nice store a lot of potential but failure due to unfocused staff.
