This shop has built two bikes for me and the work has always been excelent. Customer service is great and the owner and staff are knowledgeable. The prices for repairs are on par with other shops in the area.I highly recomend Lauderdale Cyclery to everyone in the Fort Lauderdale area.
Regarding the review from Biker2019...some people just can't be made happy. I have been going to Lauderdale Cylery for over 15 years... I have bought bikes, racing and road, valued in the many thousands of dollars there, and it's the only store in Lauderdale (and I've visited them all) that I would trust to build my bikes. The service is ALWAYS done in an expert fashion with great precision, in a timely manner and with a smile. Considering the highly technical nature of the components, and the expertise needed for set-up and maintanence, it is no wonder that MANY local racers, including state champions, regularly visit Gary and Lauderdale Cyclery. Try having a $2000 wheel built at most area shops... oh my, you would be throwing your money away. While, at Lauderdale Cyclery, Gary has, in my opinion, the best wheel builder in the state.
Enough said, Biker2019 just doesn't know what he is talking about. Go there, be happy and ride ride ride..
Never go to this bike store. Worst Customer Service I've ever seen. Not helpful. Asked to setup a 600 dollar bike for me and they refused to. There's plenty of great bike store in the area, go somewhere else. The owner has very little knowledge about what he's talking about. The partner barely speaks english and gives bad looks at customers coming in. Very little selection of bikes to choose from, most are outdated. Trust me you will not be pleased.
