Mellow Velo is an independent bicycle dealer in the heart of downtown Santa Fe and has been operating in Santa Fe since 2005. We are located at the foot of the Santa Fe National Forest (just a 20 minute pedal to the Dale Ball trails), and moments from the Santa Fe Plaza. We are surrounded by numerous historic places and Mellow Velo is an excellent jumping off point to go explore Santa Fe!
We take pride in offering a number of premium and entry level bikes for sale. Every bike we choose to carry is of the highest quality and we have bikes to suit even the most demanding clients. We always have an excellent selection of bikes pre-assembled on the floor, but if you're looking for something more special we can source and spec most any bike to meet your needs. We are also one of the only bike shops in New Mexico that offers handmade Italian and American frames from historic frame manufacturers.
100% experience renting from this shop. Smaller shop with experienced help, mine was a Santa Cruz Bronson. Friendly and helpful with advice. Couldn't ask for more in a local bike shop.
| ThankOne of the most friendliest bike shop/stores I have ever walked in. This is like the true bikers/family/Mom-n-pop type place. Smaller than some other stores, but packed with gear and if your more of a mountain biker than a roadie, this is your place. Gloves, pedals, bike computers, shorts, shoes, helmets, all kinds of stuff. Bikes were Santa Cruz and Pivot mostly. Some other ebikes and a brand Julia (I think) they were nice bikes. This store has a super staff and just warm welcome to it. I would go out of my way to come here first.
| ThankThis is the best bike shop you'll find in Northern NM. They offer high end rentals in ALL sizes, AND the Juliana line for women. Top end merch is also a plus. | ThankI recently tacked a day of riding in Santa Fe on to a recent trip and rented a Santa Cruz 5010 from the shop. Service was great, and the rental cost was very reasonable. The guys gave me directions for some good rides to hit that gave me a nice sampling of what the area has.
