A gravel road leading through a verdant landscape, flanked by lush green trees and shrubs. In the background, rolling hills and a blue sky are visible, while an old stone structure can be seen to the left. The scene conveys a peaceful rural setting in spring. Your typical rail-to-trail. It's relatively flat with some good views of the mountains and it also has buffalo too. The trail basically runs along the highway but you only see and hear the highway a few times while actually in the Wilderness Road State Park. However, when you reach the sign that says end of Wilderness Road State Park the trail continues right beside the highway and is hilly in places. We turned around when we got here because it basically goes for another couple miles and ends at a sign. Overall, this is a decent short ride with some good scenery.

This is a Rail-to-Trail. It is located near Cumberland Gap National Park. Since I was there I gave it a try. It has good views of the mountains. There are a few signs that describe the history. The trail itself is flat and has no obstacles. I gave it a three for the views. I am sure there are better trails for mountain biking, but it is close and offers about 14 miles of pedaling.

Not really a mt. biking trail. It mostly follows route
58 to the Tenn. state line.It is however a decent trail for not so tough ride. There a few places a mt. bike will come in handy, but a comfort bike will be good enough.the state park itself is nice and a good show of early American is presented.
