This trail has several access points.
First off the trail is mislabeled as #57. It should be Alpine #7.
Given all the trail closures in Montana over the last decade, this is one of the few remaining chances to get above the trees and into the high alpine. With views into the Bob Marshall Wilderness and Glacier National Park the views are drop dead incredible. This a backcountry ride so expect to hike in spots and plan on bringing the bear spray. There are a variety of options for accessing the trail, but one of the most common is Napa Point to Wire Trail or Bond Lake.
