Mountain Biking Anthem Creek Trail #1435

*****   Add a review
#114 of 1,216 mountain bike trails in Washington
#6,123 in the world

The Anthem Creek Trail begins at Trail #1400 and ends at Trail #1434. This trail is very steep. source: fs.usda.gov In addition to the bit copied and pasted from the usfs... Anthem Creek is the downhill portion of the loop when riding Duncan Hill as a loop. The upper portions, including 1434, are very steep in places, with vertical drops in the switchback corners. As the elevation gets lower, the grade decreases and becomes more flowy. The trail is definitely recommended as a downhill, preferably by riding Duncan Hill (1434), visiting the old lookout at the Duncan Hill summit (1434A) and then descending Anthem Creek, to 1400, which returns to the end of the Entiat River road.

A backcountry trail that has it all, and is thankfully not shuttleable so remains a bit of a secret.
