Mountain Biking Arizona Trail: Passage 32 Mount Elden

****   Add a review
#829 of 1,392 mountain bike trails in Colorado
#8,857 in the world

For mountain biking, this segment of the AZT is best ridden from the top of Shultz Pass at Weatherford Trailhead to I-40. It is singletrack. The best riding is from this top down about 3.5 miles to the Little Elden Springs Horse Campground park area. The trail provides a fun mix of sections of fast gnar, flowy curves, and high speed.

Great mix of fast gnar, flowy curves and high speed sections. This is a very raw trail compared to Full Sail with narrow and chunky sections. It's definitely not machine-cut, but in a good way. It also throws a couple of short steep climbs at you to keep you honest. This is a great extension of Full Sail and a great alternative to Shultz Creek Trail which is much busier. Loved it!

Exquisitely designed! Built for speed and fun! If you are an intermediate rider, just let it rip the first time, trust the builders, and hit every feature you can. WOW! WOW! WOW!
