Mountain Biking Avery
#376 of 1,392 mountain bike trails in Colorado
Avery is the race course. This is the trail that all of the races held at CBMR are run on. As such, this black diamond run throws a little bit of everything at you.
You'll find plenty of drops, technical rock gardens, bridges, table top jumps, big berms, off camber turns, slick mud, a step down, tons of roots... just about anything you can imagine, Avery will throw it at you! This trail runs the all the way from the top of the lift down to the bottom.

From the town of Crested Butte, drive north up the mountain on Hwy. 135 for
about 2 miles. Once in the town of Mount Crested Butte, just follow signs for
Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Park in one of the day parking areas.
Excellent trail! A little bit of everything for everyone.
Thank |Avery is the best downhill trail in Evolution Bike Park. It's one mile long and descends nearly 600 feet. It features some excellent hand made rock garden action some berms and some big jumps. It's rated advanced but you need to be an expert jumper to actually work the jumps. There is no good jumping in this bike park unless you're an expert.
Thank |Intense. Fast, bermy, rocky, rooty, droppy...I know I made up words but you'll see. This is a fast crazy fun ride with a nice 10 foot drop transition if you are up for it. I'd recommend a full kit and full face helmet for these trails.
Thank |This trail is my favorite at the resort because of the amazing variety on this one ribbon of singletrack!
Single black diamond difficulty rating.
