Follow the wide trail from the parking lot until about 0.75 miles when you'll take a right turn and climb uphill. This is one of the 2 detours that make the ride a bit more interesting. Take your next left and decent back to the main trail.
Follow the main trail along Parker Pond and take a right at the next major intersection. Pass by a gate and through some wetlands.
The trail gets more overgrown and also passes over a bridge. Around 2.1 miles there is a singletrack that climbs up into the woods. If you miss it just keep going until you get to a gate and the road. You can follow a trail to the right at this point which brings you back on track.
The singletrack winds its way back to the main trail which you'll be following back to the bridge. A few 100 ft after the bridge climb the trail that goes up to the right. Once you reach the top turn left and the faster down-hill portion of the ride starts.
At around 3.9 miles you'll get to a gate and another pond. Take a let onto a wide trail. At mile 4.7 there will be a singletrack to the right. Take it and follow it to the trail you started on. A GPS will be very helpful here. If you miss it you'll soon end up on the trail you started on.
There are also a few other trails to explore here.
