Sandy Neck is one of the more scenic beaches in the Upper Cape area. This is one of the few beaches on the Cape that officially allows fat bikes and keeps the open/close postings updated on the town website. Fat bikes generally are allowed on the front beach, the marsh trail, and the horse trail but closures for nesting wildlife, hunting, or other events can occur so check the website before making the trip. The beach allows ORVs on the beach and designated trails and traffic is quite heavy during summer. Best to ride at low tide. Expect a bit of hike-a-bike in the marsh and horse trails but they are worth it for some of the epic views you get to experience. Maps available on the town website.
