Mountain Biking Beartree Gap Trail
#162 of 300 mountain bike trails in Virginia
A nice technical descent or climb to Shaw Gap from Beartree Gap. A very highly recommended return option from Shaw Gap especially if you chose the Shaw Gap Trail as your climb to the gap.

Great little trail. We parked at the first parking lot to the right and rode around the lake to bike up Yancy trail (which is steep but only .3 mile) and then rode Beartree Gap Trail. It was a fun ride with some nice climbs and fun downhill sections. We ended up back in the parking lot and got in around 5 miles.
