Beinn Ghuilean forest is on the southern edge of Campbeltown. There is no parking at the start of the trails, but it's an easy, pleasant 1½ mile (2.5km) walk or bike ride to the forest from the centre of Campbeltown.
From the town centre, head out on the B842 towards Machrihanish along Witchburn Road. Turn left onto Tomaig Road and follow it up the hill. After about ½ mile (800 metres), where the road bends sharply right at some houses, carry straight on up to reach a series of field gates with joint pedestrian access to reach the woodland and the start of the trails. Please take care not to disturb any livestock in the fields.
The start of the track across the fields from Tomaig Road is at grid reference NR 710 194. The trails start at grid reference NR 717 188. (via http://scotland.forestry.gov.uk/)
