Mountain Biking Better than Dead
#25 of 256 mountain bike trails in Wyoming
Trail is in a high desert environment with a few nice rock and small cliff drops. There is one wooden bridge to cross and some areas of cliff exposure and some tight technical turns. The trail basically has an upper and lower section which is each a large contour trail. It seems best suited and the most fun to ride in a clockwise loop starting on the upper trail and returning on the lower. Some turns along the trail are hard to follow and can be easy to miss until you know the trail. Very fun and rollercoaster like in most spots.

Drive to the Riverview Cemetary north of Green River, WY. Park in the large dirt area outside the cemetary. Drop into and cross the large wash on the east side of the cemetary and follow the well established 2 track up out of the wash. Prior to 2 track going up a steep ridge line hang a right on another 2 track and follow its contour track around the hill. Soon it turns into a single track. From there follow the single track around the loop.
Another great ride next to Green River. It's kind of Wilkins-Lite. A little less mileage, a few less options, and not as many features, but what's there is good, easy to follow, and still throws some good features and variety at you. Paralleling the interstate the whole time, it's impossible to get lost.
Thank |Definitely one of my favorite trails in green river and for sure a must ride if anyone comes here
Thank |With the starting point at the cemetery, the trail name is definitely apropos. It's an easy fun loop with an exhilarating downhill section at the mid-point. A must ride if in the area.
