Mountain Biking Big Hole Crest Trail
#185 of 319 mountain bike trails in Idaho
This is a tough ride. Definately for advanced riders. Lots of climbing and descending. The trail at either end is well used and really fun. Not too much technical riding, just fun singletrack. The middle third isn't used much and isn't maintained very well. Some sections have been pretty torn up by motos. It's fun to do the whole thing once a year. The rest of the time just use the north and south ends as out and back rides or connect to other trails to make loops.

Start at the Spooky Trail or in Horseshoe Canyon. To get to The Spooky Trail trailhead, go west from Victor to Pine Creek Pass. Go over the pass and the trailhead is about a mile down the other side on the right alongside a guardrail. Horseshoe Canyon is straight west of Driggs on Bates Road. 6-7 miles out, go straight at the curve. Follow that road right into Horseshoe Canyon. There is a gravel parking area at the end of the road.
