Mountain Biking Big Sinking Loop
#85 of 108 mountain bike trails in Kentucky
From the suggested parking area ride out the right fork and bear right at the next creek crossing (don't cross the creek here). Follow old oil roads and the creekbed for about 2 miles until it intersects with the Sheltowee Trace near the mouth of Little Sinking Creek. Take the Sheltowee south along New Virginia Road to the top of the ridge. From the Big Sinking Creek ride almost a mile until there is a distinct dirt road on the left. (Or alternately take the left fork after the technical part of the climb before the gravel grind).
Take this and descend into Town Branch and follow it down to a tee intersection with a main road and go right.
Follow the road until you cross the main creek again and rejoin the loop.
