Mountain Biking Bike Park Wales

#2 of 22 mountain bike trails in Wales
#530 in the world

Wide range of trails from beginner to expert. An XC climb is available but the uplift is excellent and worth the money. Lots more trails beings built!

The weather was really poor as it rained both days we were there and the temperature was close to zero. That said the riding was brilliant. Even in the rain there was loads of grip. All the trails were great fun and at a level for everyone. If you get the chance to you won't be disappointed.

Rode the not opened yet officially "root Manouvers" red trail. Well cool! A bit soft in places expect it to cut up a bit if it doesn't pack down before the official opening on Friday 27th. It has a cracking black option of a 5ft drop on it. Well cool!

Great trails, kept me amused all day. Had to ride up as the uplift didn't accommodate 2.9" tyres but the climb was as good as the descents. Loved the blue trails, the red were a bit jarring on a hardtail. Well designed and maintained trails with a good variety of terrain. Nice to have the cafe to refuel and chill for a bit between runs.

Fun place for a half day out for more experienced riders who love the technical down hills and those who are happy to pay for the up lift. Not great for people who prefer XC riding or new to MTB. Cafe was good and technical staff helpful.

Let the efficient uplift do (most) of the climbing and choose from multiple blue-red- black (even some 'pro' option) routes down. Very well designed and maintained trails, great cafe area for refuelling and big expansion plans! None of the trails are super steep, the difference between the trail designations is largely the amount of flat/pedal sections (quite a few on the blues) and the style of trail (wide gentle on blues to tight, rooty/rocky with small drops and bigger air opportunities on the reds/blacks). Plenty to keep anyone of any skill set happy for a whole day.
