Mountain Biking Black Creek Walking Trail
#41 of 112 mountain bike trails in Alabama
This is a family fun trail. It is a 1.7 mile out and back style trail with many scenic views and sounds of the nearby waterfalls and creek. Scattered along the trail are several rest benches and even an oberservation deck with picnick tables. At one point near the bottom of the hill you will see an opening to walk out into the creek on a large rock, caution after a heavy rain. This is an out and back trail so just remember what you walk up or down you must also reverse this on the way back.

Enter the trail from near the foot bridge over Noccalula Falls, and near the wedding chapel. Go approximately 1.7 miles and then return the opposite direction.
This is a fun trail. It starts out paved, but most of it is compacted gravel. It's 1.7 miles one way and is an out and back trail. Most of the way out is downhill, so the route back is mostly uphill. Not too steep, but long climbs. It's a good ride for every skill level. There is also several singletrack trails that run off the main gravel trail.
Thank |Very fun trail. trail Solutions did a great job in the new trails. Should be in everyone's to do list. Great place for a base camp, close to lots of other trail systems. You need to check this one outb
Thank |Well...it's a very nice walking trail....that serves as a very good connector for the short but sweet MTB trails in the area.
