Mountain Biking Bluff Trails

*****   Add a review
#41 of 388 mountain bike trails in Wisconsin
#1,895 in the world

Some little used singletrack that spans the bluff and offers some incredible
views of La Crosse! Be careful, the word EXPOSURE comes into serious
play here.

I lived in LaCrosse for 6 months and my favorite part of that time was getting to know these trails. There are so many different routes to string together that it's suitable for everyone. OB1 and The Dark Side are personal favorites but all the trails offer something new

Wow. This trail has some great views overlooking the city/countryside. Lots of short, narrow climbs/descents with rocks and roots thrown in for good measure. I second the GPS recommendation. I used the "fireman's method" (always turn one direction going out, left in this case, then turn right on the way back.) I missed a lot of the trail this way. Be mindful of hikers though. Lots of blind corners. I did see one log obstacle and one gap jump while riding but the natural terrain provides plenty of challenge.

This trail has views like no other! A lot of trails go in different directions. I would recommend several trips and a GPS to see it all. This network of trails have some technical spots. Great overall!
