Mountain Biking Bluffs Regional Park Trail
#389 of 1,392 mountain bike trails in Colorado
This is a multi-use trail made of crushed gravel. There are no technical features at all, but it is good for a lunchtime lap or for a couple of laps after work. It's also good for taking small kids riding on to get them onto a dirt trail that won't freak them out.
As a loop it's about 2.7 miles, 3.9 if you ride out to each of the two overlooks, and it can be ridden in either direction.

From I-25 take Lincoln Ave east about one block to Ridgegate Parkway, take that south about 1/2 mile to the trailhead
I can't think of a more dangerous place waiting for an accident to happen with mountain bikers going reckless speeds on trails full of people walking their dogs and out for family walks-
Thank |Easily accessible with zero technical challenges other than a couple decent hills.
Thank |If you enter from the East end of East-West trail near Cabelas, be advised of construction detours.
Good way to access better trails. Watch out for rover groups of starbuck's drinking women in spandex walking dogs who believe they own the whole trail from side to side....
Thank |This is a typical open space park with semi-truck wide, immaculately groomed gravel trails. It is surrounded on 3 (probably soon to be 4) sides by the every growing Denver megalopolis. Nothing fun here and to get any kind of workout will require multiple laps (there are a couple good climbs). Expect plenty of hikers, including stroller-pushing families.
Thank |It is a simple trail with great views of downtown and front range THOUGH it's not a trail for SMALL kids. There are several climbs/decents with loose shale top surface rock that a youngsters may not manage well, they will be walking those sections.
Thank |Very fun trail! Great views!
Thank |Smooth packed gravel trail...good for an after work workout
