A fun flowy trail with rocky sections, climbing, and switchbacks, but nothing super technical that should keep the less experienced away. It's a great trail to practice those skills, and once you make it to the top, the downhill is super fun. If you want to log more miles, connect to the rock hollow/zombie trails. If you really want to log the miles, start at castlewood S.P. and connect to these trails via stinging nettle/al foster trail. Just keep a heads up for other bikers/hikers.

Mostly buff trail with a steady climb to the top with a couple breaks and a couple technical rocky sections. Sweet downhill from the top lot. Can have a lot of trail runners on the weekends and an occasional horse.

A nice but short trail with a great view of the Merrimec River valley at the top. Park at the bottom so that you can climb up to the top and enjoy a great descent down to the parking lot!

A super fun but shorter trail. The view at the top is great! Park at the lower parking lot so that you can climb up the trail, and have a nice descent back to your vehicle!

Very well designed trail climbing gradually to what looks like new neighborhood construction. Just before the top there is a fantastic view of the river valley at an old foundation. The trip up and back is fun with enough rock to keep it interesting.

great trail. offers a little bit of everything. tough climb for this newbie of 4 months. plenty of rock gardens to add some technicality. top it all off with nice flow making for a really fun descent. great trail. looking forward to being fit enough that i won't be wiped out every time i ride it.

This is a great section of moderately technical singletrack. Is is a 2.5 mile out and back that is almost a constant climb to the top and fast descent back down. The view at the top of the bluff is more then worth the effort though! Get out and put some tracks down on this freshly built singletrack in the at. St. Louis area. You will not be disappointed.
