I took the Back pack blower out this past week 11/21-23 and cleaned off the entire trail, cut trees out over trail and went for a ride, easy to follow now and dry enough for a nice ride :-)

I took back pack blower out this morning 10/28 and cleaned the entire trail! Cleared debris and went back and rode the trail, was nice, clean and not muddy.

Blume County is a hidden gem. Ridden by only a few people, this trail has minimal sand and often drains well after rain due to a drainage ditch running the length of the trail. Great as a learning trail. It has every possible combination of roots, log crossings, hill climbs and descents.

I think the trail could seriously use some grooming. There are way too many thorn bushs limbs hanging over the trail. Other than the thorns it wasn't too bad. There are a few trees blocking the trail I don't believe are supposed to be there but since this is my first time here I couldn't be sure whether they are there on purpose or not. If so it would be nice to have some go arounds or ramps to overcome them. There was also a ton of leaves on the trails so definitely don't want to ride damp.

Flowing trail, tight and technical. Lots of roots and hairpin turns. Very buggy since it is all woodsy but nothing a little bug spray can't handle. Good distance for an evening ride after work. Haven't seen other riders. Some runners and walkers on the paved trail.

Good trail, hit it on my way from the city. Clean open riding, well hidden in the back of park behind a pave trail and is located between corn fields

A nice trail system in a small park. Therefore a very twisty trail as well. Some rooty sections. The leaf cover and twisty trails leads to a slower speed ride. All intermediate trail, but a few turns and climbs are very sudden. A few sections could use a little TLC, but that's what spring is for right?
A nice place to stop for a break if traveling by on I-80.

I enjoyed this trail. When I saw that my gps said I was close I would have never guessed that this trail would be fun since I was surrounded by beanfields. However, once I got back to the trails and got riding they were quite fun. There isn't anything too technical or difficult but it is a fun but short ride.

There were a lot of roots but a fun flowing trail. Not all that long. It is tight and technical* Review edited 8/6/2011

Nice ride..usually not crowded with other riders. On occasion watch out for horseback riders. To ride the main portion of Bluhm, follow the paved walkway downhill from the treeline, west of the parking lot. Once the pavement ends, cross the ditch and turn left onto the singletrack.
