Mountain Biking Bobcat Loop

****   Add a review
#74 of 105 mountain bike trails in Indiana
#7,631 in the world

This trail isn't Brown County's hardest, but it's right up there. Expect lots of roots, rocks, logs, and awkward ravine-crossings with tight turns. Also be aware of the sections that have some pretty serious off-camber exposure. They're not technical, but they sure are scary!

Getting there
Starting from the Hoosier's Nest Parking Area, head north on Upper Schooner Road. Continue straight past where Upper Schooner Road splits off to the left, but hop onto Weedpatch Trail on the left right after the intersection. You should dead end into Bobcat pretty quickly.

If you like exposure, you've come to the right place. There are select places on this trail where off-camber trail skirting sizable drops are commonplace. Beyond those places, expect a fun advanced loop sporting creeks to cross, logs to hop, and descents to conquer. You won't be disappointed.
