    Reviewing Bird-Dog:

1.4 miles. Blue rated trail that passes the gorge with some graded switchbacks. Elevation is up to 226 ft, so climbs and descents are present here. Trails are hand built and bench cut where needed to provide a level treadline in hillsides. Go ride and enjoy.

Good hills for Louisiana and the trail was nicely marked. My first trail ride, so for me it was fun. Great beginner trail

I really enjoyed this trail. I am working on my conditioning so I found the climbs challenging at times but they lead to rewarding descents. The trail was wide for the most part with a few narrow areas as well as some twists and turns. Scenery was great. A few different areas to get water and restrooms just off the trail and you can jump in the river or splash park to cool off if you need to.
I am adding this trail to my regular rides to increase my endurance with climbs. It has some good flow as well.

    $3/person to enter the park.

Note that this review is for the existing Gorge Run Trail... I understand that the local mountain biking association, NORBA, has some trails in the planning stages coming soon to this park. I am really looking forward to that!
