Mountain Biking Bohannon Creek
#60 of 64 mountain bike trails in Oklahoma
This trail is one of the best descents off Winding Stair Mountain. It's less technical than other descents, but significantly steeper, making the ride a fast one.
Remember that you are in a remote area with no cell service and little traffic. There are also bears in the area. Tell someone where your going and make sure to set up a deadline for getting back. Enjoy!

From Whitesboro, head west out of town on Oklahoma Highway 63. Turn right onto County Highway 249 going up Winding Stair Mountain. Once you've climbed the ridge, the trail should be on the right just before Oklahoma Highway 1.
