Mountain Biking Boot Hill
#157 of 193 mountain bike trails in South Island
The Boot Hill Trail is a loop that meanders up and along a slope overlooking Alexandra. It's promoted as a beginner/family ride but it is somewhat steeper and narrower than that and the switchbacks are quite sharp. It's a pleasant grade 3 track - not rich in MTB features but well worth a couple of loops. There are no signs so best to ride anticlockwise and go right at any forks you come to.
