Mountain Biking Boy Scout Trail
#667 of 1,392 mountain bike trails in Colorado
We ended up on the Boy Scout trail by accident. At first the singletrack is easy to
ride, but then it begins to switchback and climb steeply up the side of the Slate
River waterfalls/rapids. Some beautiful scenery, but a tough little trail!

This trail begins and ends off of Gunsight Pass Road, but it isn't marked.
This is a great little trail. Ride it clockwise like the first review says, drops down steeply next to the river and then sweeping single track back to Gunsight pass trail
Thank |You seem to be reviewing the GB Trail which you can actually connect from the Upper Lower by going up Gunsight after exiting the single track. Look for the entry to the right, a steep downhill past which will take you past a shed. The single track will take you back to Gunsight where, after a short ride you can swing right onto Lower Loop following the Slate.
Thank |At least an intermediate rating.
