A one way singletrack rollercoaster one of the most fun trails on LI.
| ThankToday was my first thorough exploration of the brickyard. Its a relatively short trail(took me about 10 minutes or so from start to finish). Very steep long climbs and decents(compared to meadowlark which is rated intermediate compared to the black diamond rating of the brickyard). Saw my life pass before my eyes more than 1 time although i did hit the loop 3x. 4/5 stars for 2 reasons. 1-in a couple of spots the climbs were impssible due to loose gravel/sand-no one can climb them fully without dismounting and 2-it was too short, personally i prefer a longer loop. Definitely worth checking out.
