I went there with 5 kid and 2 adulte. We did not know what to expect. It was perfect, the trail was very nice and fun. We had a lot of fun, everybody was very happy. The staff was very was very good to explain the trail.
We did 2 times the biginner and 1 time the medium. We are going back for sure.

Brookvale has been my favorite place to ride when I visit PEI for several years. The newly built trails raise Brookvale from a 4/5 to a 5/5. THe signage still needs a little work, but they have done a nice job connecting the various single track sections so you have to spend very little time on the cross country trails if you wish. The newly built trails have added some great flow to a trail system which was dominated by easy to moderately technical single track. The initial loop from the lodge is great fun and suitable for a great range of riders. The trails are almost always empty. It's a very under utilized trail system. There are a few built features (look out for the bridge to teeter-totter drop) and some jumps if you can get your flow down, but most of the trails are a mix of intermediate and low advanced single track.

It has been a long time since a review. The MTB part of Brookvale Nordic center has undergone extensive and amazing renovations in 2016/17. There are several kilometers of sweet flowy new trails added to the upgraded traditional trails out there. No kidding, riders will not believe the fun and will be coming from all over just to ride here (and enjoy the beaches and great food after). Some recent pics and video will be posted soon. (PS: the map shown is incorrect, it shows the Alpine part of Brookvale. The MTB/nordic trails are further West a bit - there's a big sign you cannot miss)

Very well built trails. A good mix of climbing and downhill. Don't miss the random wooden jumps built into the trails. There are a few interesting seesaws built into the trails. The best trails on PEI. Trails are numbered at all intersections, making it very easy to navigate.

Great trails that are being constantly improved. Lots of short but steep climbs, with great twisty technical bits in between. There is one short downhill section with a couple ramps and jumps on the north side of the trailhead. You'll certainly finish with a smile on your face. Maps and signs are good, and you won't have any problems navigating around. Locals are super friendly.

this is mainly a cross country trail system set up on x-crountry ski trails. There are lots of hills to climb and a lot of the trails follow wide ski runs. However they have cut lots of trail in the woods and have some intermediate level downhill sections that have real good flow. This trail system has something for everyone to enjoy.

This network of trails is in Brookvale's ski area. There's a lot of awesome singletracks, some bridges and a lot of red mud if it rains. Fun!
