Mountain Biking Brush Creek Park Loop

***   Add a review
#140 of 293 mountain bike trails in Pennsylvania

The trail has lots of flowing sections. There are a few minor obstacles such as rocks and roots. Overall the trail is fairly easy but it's fun cause you can fly down the trail pretty fast. The loop takes around 35 minutes to complete.

Getting there
The trail starts right by the lake. You will see a sign for spot #2 for the fishing area, the trailhead is right after the sign. Take a left on the trailhead and head up the hill to the trail. Once you get to the covered bridge head up the hill to continue the loop. You will come to a Y, take a right. The trail will continue and loop around for a few miles. You will come to a T that connects to the horse trail, take a left down the hill and continue along the horse trail. You will eventually see a single track trail that heads down the hill. At the bottom, take a left and follow the trail back to the trail head.

This is my local "go to trail" when I need a quick ride. I really like it. It has it all in one place, hills, mud, rocks, and roots. Nice flowy down hills and generally well kept.

Nice trails, not to many trails though. More of a spot for a quick local ride. Also the trail needs some chainsaw work there are some large trees down over the trails.

Nice trail for what it is. Had to ride around a bit to find the trailheads. Pretty easy for my standards. Great place to take someone just getting started to build some confidence. I live nearby so its a good last minute ride.

The trailheads are difficult to find. Upper trail is much better than the lower trail. Not a bad place to ride if you live close by.

The trail is only a few miles from my house so I frequent it a lot. It's nothing special but it's just a fun single track to do when I don't have a lot of time to ride. There are a few sections that will get your legs burning but it's not to bad. It takes me around 32 minutes to complete the whole loop. I would recommend taking it for a spin if you are in the area. I want to get more of a MTB community built up here so we can expand the trails. I will take a few photos next time I ride there and add them here.
