Mountain Biking Bulgan Range Central
#59 of 70 mountain bike trails in Mongolia
A beautiful spacious mountainous region of 135 square miles (86,300 acres) (35,000 hectares) in the heart of the Bulgan Range. It is full of forested slopes and long grassy valleys. Trails are a mix of singletrack, two-track, and dirt roads. Long climbs and long descents are the rule here. The opportunity for exploration seems unending.
The northerly (NW) and southerly (SE) boundaries are comprised of the two main passes (dirt roads), dissecting the length of the range. The easterly border (NE) is the main paved road heading NNW out of Bulgan. The westerly border (SW) is mostly dirt roads in the broad valley on the west side of the range.
