Mountain Biking Bulldog
#46 of 319 mountain bike trails in Idaho
Bulldog is one of eight trails that can be connected into a loop in the Croy Creek Trail System near Bailey, Idaho. It's a fine back-country trail that wanders around rolling hills. It has few technical features and the gradient is strictly controlled so if you take your time, you'll climb without breaking into a sweat. If you're going down-slope you won't carve off layers of brake pad. Like the other trails in the system, it's great for intermediate riders.
The hill that Bulldog is on is dry and covered in low shrubs. It has a nice open-spaces feel and quite nice views over the valley below.

Head out of Hailey on Croy Creek Road. 4.5 miles from Hailey turn right up Bullion Gulch Road. Look for a small car park on your fight after about two miles.
By itself, the Bulldog trail doesn't add up to much but combined with the other trails in the Croy Creek System you'll have a nice morning's ride. I've given it two stars although it deserves more! There is a reason but I won't bore you with it.
