Mountain Biking Cabin Creek

*****   Add a review
#363 of 1,004 mountain bike trails in California
#4,512 in the world

Easy trail that follows Cabin Creek (used to be called Squaw Creek) through a beautiful forest. There are a couple washout places that you'll have to hike it for a few feet.

This mtb Singletrack riders dream, so fun! I highly recommend this Trail. A grind coming back up 2,250 ft climb ' 4 trees need to be logged out. ( had to dismount 4-6 times each way') and major brushing and some tread retention needed on the last mile before the road. Some challenging rock outcroppings, might be my new favorite. Didn't make it to the upper trailhead? Went left on the dirt road for a few miles.

I used to go to McCloud regularly on business and would always make time for a ride here. Absolutely a beautiful and very fun ride. Not very difficult, but certainly not boring.
