Mountain Biking Cannon Hills

#151 of 223 mountain bike trails in Massachusetts

This small but techie set of woods adjacent to Dead Horse beach and along the way to Salem Willows.  Its has steppish climbs and a little single track but is very short. There are a few nice jumps and burms at the top of the hills in Cannon Woods.

Getting there
The general directions are the same to Salem Willows...ake Route 128 to the 114 East Exit 25A towards Salem. Follow 114 as it winds through Peabody into Salem. After the Hess Gas Station and HMA on your left, take the exit off of 114 into Beverly. This is Bridge Street. Follow Bridge St. to Webb St. and turn right. At the second left after turning onto Webb St., there will be an intersection with lights at Memorial Drive. Turn left onto Memorial Drive and follow past the Bentley Elementary School. Keep following Memorial Drive until it ends at the Willows. The tennis courts will be on the right. Their trail heads adjust to dead horse beach.

I would call this Intermediate + not just plain on Intermediate. This small but techie set of woods adjacent to Dead Horse beach and along the way to Salem Willows. Its has steppish climbs and a little single track but is very short. There are a few nice jumps and berms...Its just real real short. Not my favorite spot by any means BUT the jumps are real good.
