Mountain Biking Canopy
#78 of 289 mountain bike trails in Florida
Canopy is a short blue trail that intersects at the Marshmallow Trail and Pine
Tree Trail and has really some of the best scenery at Santos. It's name comes
from the incredible moss covered oak trees that extend over the trail creating
a "canopy" effect which is really breathtaking. One of those not so technical
trails, but you always love to ride.

Heading South on 441, turn right on 80th Street. The Santos trailhead will be
almost immediately on your left hand side, across from the bike shop.
Short trail that works as a connector from Blue Highway to Pine Tree near the main TH. Pretty trail that is worth riding! It has a few technical sections with roots, rocks, and narrow trees. Little elevation change, and should be easy for most riders.
Thank |Fun! Pretty is easy so a good one to go fast on.
Thank |Flat, fast, flowing trail. No elevation change but a few sweeping curves and switchbacks. Don't miss if you are riding at the Santos TH.
Thank |You'll come out nature drunk on this one
Thank |It is beautiful and you can really get some good speed and work on your switch backs. However because of the greenery, visibility is short and you have to be careful of not smacking into someone coming the other way.
Thank |The ride would be on the boring side if it wasn't for the beautiful scenery. This is one of those rides where you take a deep breath, open your eyes wide open and take in the scenery. Always enjoy riding through Canopy.
