Mountain Biking Caprock Canyons Trailway
#217 of 279 mountain bike trails in Texas
Pick any spot to ride and enjoy. The wester third had scenic views of the caprock as you ride along plus there is the 500ft Clarity Tunnel. The Eastern half near Estelline is wooded. The center third is in the open so beware of the wind. Make sure your tubes are well slimed and take at least one spare. Water and food is a must. Expect to see Mule Deer at close range, Mexican Bats in Clarity Tunnel during the summer, and most other Texas wildlife. Don't mess with the Buffalo, they can be aggressive.

This is an old Railroad right of way, now State Trailway that runs from South Plains to Estelline. Trail access is at every town depot and most state highway crossings.
